The week in bankruptcies: Houston sees business bankruptcies pick up in recent weeks

Houston-area bankruptcy courts recorded more than a dozen business filings during the past couple of weeks. But year-to-date business bankruptcy filings are still down 53% locally year over year, thanks to several slower weeks earlier in 2021.
