PEPSICO FOUNDATION AMONG THOSE HONORED FOR EXCELLENCE AT LAUNCH OF CAF AMERICA 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

CAF America, America's leader in international grantmaking, honored the PepsiCo Foundation, Flexport, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance with the 2021 Excellence in International Philanthropy award during a virtual awards ceremony celebrating CAF America’s 30th anniversary campaign.

The three award recipients were honored for their outstanding philanthropic achievements in accelerating impact for communities during a challenging year.

“Over the past year, no community was left unscathed by the pandemic and the PepsiCo Foundation is humbled to be able to provide support. We’re grateful to be included alongside other organizations who have made a significant impact this year. We could not have made an impact without CAF America and our partners who have helped make this possible,” said Jon Banner, Executive Vice President of PepsiCo Global Communications and President of the PepsiCo Foundation.

CAF America launched its 30th year campaign to spotlight the outstanding work of donor clients and charity partners throughout the United States and worldwide. With a network of more than 1.8 million charities in 110 countries, CAF America represents the largest platform of cross-border giving grounded in the three Rs of international philanthropy: Risk Mitigation, Regulatory Compliance, and Reputation Protection.

Over the next year, CAF America will release a stream of engaging thought leadership campaigns around upcoming including publications, including a new book, reports, podcasts, webinars, videos, events, social media content, and the launch of a new Validated Global Charity Database that will significantly expand the frontiers of impact philanthropy. CAF America will also roll out its newly developed Disaster Philanthropy Program to facilitate preparedness for and responsiveness to future crises.

CAF America's industry-leading standards break down barriers making giving around the world possible for tens of thousands of individuals, families, corporations, and foundations. The year-long celebration of donors and the charities they support will culminate on April 29th, 2022, during CAF America's 30th Anniversary Gala Celebration in New York City.
