Panama City Beach Hooters embraced the holiday spirit by giving back to the community through three impactful initiatives this Christmas season. From supporting women in recovery to bringing joy to local children, the team is committed to spreading kindness and making a difference.
Bringing Joy to Bethel Village
In partnership with Bethel Village, a women’s recovery house that is part of the Panama City Rescue Mission, Panama City Beach Hooters donated all the delicious sides for their Christmas dinner. The meal featured holiday favorites like rolls, mac & cheese, cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, salad, and dressing.
“It’s incredibly meaningful to support Bethel Village and help make the season a little brighter for the women there,” said Carly Dockery, Director of Operations at Panama City Beach Hooters. “Their mission of helping women rebuild their lives is truly inspiring, and we’re grateful to contribute to their holiday celebration.”
Partnering with Toys 4 Kids
As a long-time supporter of the local Toys 4 Kids initiative, Panama City Beach Hooters expanded its involvement this year. In addition to contributing to their annual golf tournament, Hooters became a drop-off location for toy donations. Guests and staff came together to fill the box, ensuring children in the community had presents to unwrap on Christmas morning.
“Toys 4 Kids holds a special place in our hearts,” Carly shared. “The generosity of our patrons and team this year was overwhelming, and we’re so proud to support a local organization that brings happiness to so many children during the holidays.”
Official Toys for Tots Drop-Off Location
In another effort to support local children, Panama City Beach Hooters served as an official drop-off location for Toys for Tots. The partnership made it easy for the community to donate toys for children in need, amplifying the holiday spirit and ensuring more kids experienced the joy of the season.
Carly highlighted the importance of community collaboration, saying , “Toys for Tots does amazing work for families in our area. We’re honored to partner with them and to see our guests step up to support such a meaningful cause.”
