Dr. Kureishy completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he served as Chief Resident during his Ophthalmology Residency. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas. His medical journey began with a fascination for the intricate anatomy of the eye and its potential for treatment through both medical and surgical techniques. His attention to detail and patient-first approach ensure that each individual receives a thorough exam, understands their diagnosis, and feels confident in the treatment plan they have chosen with Dr. Kureishy's help.
With a particular interest in cataract and eyelid surgeries, Dr. Kureishy finds great fulfillment in witnessing the dramatic improvement in his patients’ quality of life following treatment. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Kureishy grew up in McKinney, Texas, and now resides there with his wife, a clinical mental health counselor, and their beloved cat. Outside of the office, he enjoys practicing latte art, staying current with emerging technology, and traveling abroad to explore new cultures.
