Watermelon Beet Post-Workout Smoothie

Servings: 2

1/2medium cooked and peeled beet, chopped
1cup chopped watermelon
1banana, peeled
1/2cup coconut water
1cup low-fat, plain kefir
1/2lime, peeled
2tablespoons honey
1teaspoon vanilla extract
2tablespoons vanilla protein powder


In blender, blend beet, watermelon, banana, coconut water, kefir, lime, honey, vanilla extract and protein powder until smooth.

Rosy Red Superfood Smoothie

2cups watermelon cubes
1cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1cup low-fat raspberry kefir
2tablespoons orange juice concentrate
2tablespoons hemp seeds
2tablespoons agave syrup
 ice (optional)


In blender, blend watermelon, raspberries, kefir, orange juice concentrate, hemp seeds, agave syrup and ice, if desired, until smooth.

Watermelon Protein Shake

1cup chopped watermelon
1cup frozen mango, chopped
1/4cup tart cherry juice
1/2cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
1tablespoon honey or to taste (optional)


In blender, blend watermelon, mango, cherry juice, Greek yogurt, protein powder and honey about 30 seconds until well combined.
