Author Allison Hill, who is passionate about human rights, family, and education, brings an Amazon sensation of a cookbook filled with lots of recipes while also laser-focused on its goal to fight domestic hunger.

Author Allison Hill makes waves with her highly rated cookbook "Feeding Family, Feeding America," an Amazon hit that offers family recipes while staying on track with its mission to address domestic hunger.

All of the net earnings from "Feeding Family, Feeding America" are contributed to Feeding America, the largest and most successful nonprofit in the nation that tackles the complex, underlying causes of hunger.

The cookbook's opens with a statement offering a solid commitment to addressing hunger worldwide hunger. After talking about her family routine before COVID-19 struck, the author discusses how the health crisis took a toll on her family and sheds light on the importance of family meals: "Things were so bad for so many families. The pandemic wreaked havoc on people, especially children and seniors, due to no fault of their own. The extended effects will be tremendous. What could we do to help? We decided to create a cookbook of our favorite quarantine meals to benefit those most in need, donating proceeds to Feeding America. This book is meant to give ideas for creating delicious, flavorful foods that take very little effort and the whole family loves."

In a review, Phil Bolos said, "Feeding Family, Feeding America" is filled with lots of recipes that sound amazing and, best of all, do not appear to be very complicated or time-consuming.

"With everyone being busy and rushing home from work or getting home late, it is nice to come across some good recipes that do not require a massive amount of time or a long list of ingredients. The recipes which stood out to me the most were the breakfast meals. This has always been a weak spot for me, but now I have a go-to book which gives me lots of options that are sure to get my family moving in the morning and keep them filled until lunchtime comes around," says Phil.

Pearl A., another reader, said she loves exploring different family recipes and was extremely happy that she came across a wonderful recipe book.

"Feeding Family, Feeding America by Allison Hill is making us discover lots of recipes that we might have never tried before. What I especially loved about this book was that it shows food illustrations, and the instructions are easy to follow. Not to mention that the recipe ideas are simple and not complicated," says Pearl.

To date, the team has already served 80,000+ meals with the sales of the book. Although the epidemic is nearly done, its effects are still being felt today. The family realized there are still so many in need, especially with soaring prices, general inflation, and grocery pricing increases. This is why the family hopes to continue to serve as many people as possible.

Allison Hill is humorously known as the student who started a small fire in her culinary class at Cornell University. She got her undergraduate degree from the School of Hotel Administration and MBA from the Johnson Business School.

However, this did not stop the distinguished author from pushing for the thing she loved most –– family cooking. Besides being an author, Allison is a frequent speaker, panelist, and contributor on dual-careers, DEI, and philanthropy.

Kitchen and food enthusiasts who want to grab a copy of "Feeding Family, Feeding America" may purchase it on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
