Mission-driven home care agency now approved to accept Medicaid, making essential caregiving services accessible to more seniors, families

Village Caregiving (VCG), a mission-driven, privately-owned home care agency in the United States, today announced its approval to accept Medicaid in Wisconsin, broadening access to compassionate, in-home support for seniors and families across the state.

Through the Supportive Home Care (SHC) and Chore Services programs, Wisconsin Medicaid recipients can now use their benefits to cover VCG’s trusted caregiving services, including help with daily activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, bathing, transportation and companionship.

The need in Wisconsin is great as there were more than 1.2 million individuals enrolled in Medicaid in 2023 statewide. Of those enrolled in the program, 1 in 4 individuals (24%) are ages 65+ or have disabilities, according to KFF.
