Tractor Supply is also recognizing the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department in Center Point, Texas, for its heroic rescue and recovery work in the aftermath of the Hill Country floods. On July 4, the Guadalupe River rose 36 feet, devastating the surrounding communities. Center Point volunteer firefighters worked tirelessly to shepherd residents to safety, and in the days that followed, navigated the floodwaters to search for those who were missing. While the department took care of its community, the floodwaters swept through the Center Point Volunteer Fire Station, destroying everything. As a Hometown Heroes Spotlight honoree, Tractor Supply is providing $5,000 to the fire department to assist in its rebuilding efforts.

“At the height of the flood, our fire station was under seven feet of water, and we lost all of our equipment,” said Larry Littrell, Assistant Chief at Center Point Volunteer Fire Department. “Rebuilding and continuing to serve our community is our top priority, and every bit of help makes a difference. We’re deeply grateful to Tractor Supply for their incredible support — their generosity gives us hope and helps us move one step closer to getting back on our feet.”

Hometown Heroes Days

The Spotlight announcement is the first of many activities taking place during Tractor Supply’s annual Hometown Heroes Days event, which begins today on National First Responders Day (October 28), and runs through Veterans Day (November 11). During the two-week celebration, stores have scheduled unique activities, such as safety classes with first responders, rescue demonstrations, “Shop with a Hero” opportunities, cook-offs, food trucks, music and more.

To honor those who serve our communities, verified Hometown Heroes will receive a 10% discount on First Responders Day (Tuesday, October 28), Tractor Supply’s National Hometown Heroes Day (Saturday, November 1) and Veterans Day (Tuesday, November 11).

The Company and its Foundation launched the Hometown Heroes initiative in 2024 with a $1 million donation to 10 national organizations that support the selfless men and women who serve. The Tractor Supply Foundation announced another $1 million donation on June 18, 2025. To learn more, visit TractorSupply.com/honoringheroes.
