Alliant Insurance Services Expands Mid-Atlantic Team, Hiring Ken Smith

Ken Smith has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Executive Vice President and Regional Director within its Alliant Americas division. Based in McLean, Virginia, Smith will work with a range of clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, designing and supporting comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions.

Smith has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on leadership, business development, talent development, and recruiting. His diverse background includes successes in the areas of P&L management, consultative sales, negotiating M&A and divestiture deals, operational efficiency, and process management. As a leader, he has worked to build and implement sales pipeline discipline, pricing for value, forecasting protocols, and retention strategies that address the challenges faced by businesses in today’s marketplace.
