On January 15, 2010, Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (the “Company”) announced that on January
15, 2010 John W. Redmon, previously President, CB&I Lummus, and a named executive officer of the
Company, has accepted, effective immediately, the new role of Senior Executive Sponsor for major
EPC projects of the Company. Further information regarding Mr. Redmon can be found in the
Company’s Proxy Statement for its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on May 7, 2009, which
information is incorporated herein by reference.
