July 14, 2009 — Guernsey, British Isles — CanArgo Energy Corporation (“CanArgo” or the “Company”) (OSE: CNR; Pink Sheets: CANR) announced that today it received a further communication from the Oslo Børs ASA (the “Oslo Børs”) informing it that a decision on possible delisting of the Company’s shares from the Oslo Børs, for failure to comply with the Oslo Børs’ rules, will be made by the board of the Oslo Børs at a board meeting on August 26, 2009. The shares may be delisted soon after the board has made a decision.
Shareholders, creditors and other interested parties should consult the Company’s website www.canargo.com for further updates on the Company’s status.
CanArgo is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with its oil and gas operations currently located in Georgia.
