(the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it has called for redemption its Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2006 (the "Notes") issued pursuant to an Indenture between the Company and Wachovia Bank, National Association (formerly known as First Union National Bank). The redemption price is 102.500% of the principal amount of the Notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon up to but not including the date of redemption. The Notes may be converted into shares of the Company's common stock until the close of business on June 27, 2002 at a conversion price of $7.46. (Nasdaq: CHRS) today announced that it has called for redemption its Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2006 (the "Notes") issued pursuant to an Indenture between the Company and Wachovia Bank, National Association (formerly known as First Union National Bank), as trustee. The redemption price is 102.500% of the principal amount of the Notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon up to but not including the date of redemption. There is currently $96,024,000 in principal amount of the Notes outstanding. The Notes have a maturity date of June 15, 2006 and may be converted into shares of the Company's common stock at a conversion price of $7.46. The Notes are being called for redemption on June 28, 2002. The right to convert the Notes into shares of the Company's common stock will expire at the close of business on June 27, 2002.
