News Corporation (the “Company”) filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the three months ended September 30, 2008 (“Q1 2009 10-Q”) on November 6, 2008. As a participant in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s voluntary XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) program, the Company has attached as Exhibit 100 to this Current Report on Form 8-K the following financial statements from the Company’s Q1 2009 10-Q formatted in XBRL: (i) the Consolidated Statements of Operations for the three months ended September 30, 2008 and 2007, (ii) the Consolidated Balance Sheets as of September 30, 2008 and June 30, 2008 and (iii) the Consolidated Statements of Cash Flows for the three months ended September 30, 2008 and 2007.

Pursuant to Rule 401 of Regulation S-T, users of this data are advised that the financial information contained in the XBRL-related documents is unaudited and that these are not the official publicly filed financial statements of the Company.
