| Item 7.01. | Regulation FD Disclosure. |
On June 19, 2007, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Trust”) announced that it had extended until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 28, 2007, unless otherwise terminated or further extended, its previously announced consent solicitation relating to certain series of the Trust’s outstanding unsecured notes (collectively, the “Notes”) to amend the indenture governing the Notes. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
