ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.

On May 16, 2017, the Board of Directors of Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. voted to increase the Company's quarterly cash dividend to $0.20 per common share.  The higher rate will be paid on July 3, 2017, to stockholders of record as of June 12, 2017.  On May 17, 2017, Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference, announcing the dividend increase.
