Results of Operations and Financial Condition, Declaration of Dividends and Stock Repurchase Program On July 19, 2007, Brookline Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") announced its earnings for the 2007 second quarter and approval by its Board of Directors of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.085 per share and an extra dividend of $0.20 per share payable August 15, 2007 to stockholders of record on July 31, 2007. The Board of Directors also authorized the repurchase of an additional 2,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock. Coughlin retired as a director of Brookline Bancorp, Inc. on July 19, 2007 after 31 years of dedicated service.
