Other Events

On March 6, 2009, Satyam Computer Services Limited (“Satyam”) issued a press release announcing that it received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to facilitate a global competitive bidding process which, subject to receipt of all approvals, contemplates the selection of an investor to acquire a 51% interest in Satyam. In addition, the press release highlighted several aspects of the proposed process, and stated that Satyam will issue another press release with more details of the competitive bidding process as soon as such details are available. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
