According to one survey, about 3.4 million people visited Scotland on vacation in 2017.

The Northern Highlands reaches from Inverness to Thurso to create the Northern Highlands. This runs on a fault line that created the Caledonian Canal.

Edinburgh Castle
One of the most famous castles in Europe is Edinburg Castle, and it was used by King David I years ago.
It’s on top of a volcano that is now extinct, and from there, you’ll be able to see a skyline of the city and all of the famous landmarks. It definitely gives you a great new perspective, but it’s also just amazing to see in person as well.
You’ll have to go over an old drawbridge to get into the castle, but once you’re in there, you can spend time exploring all of the different parts of the castle, admiring statues, and learning about its history.
Loch Ness
Lastly, Loch Ness is a great place to visit. No, we don’t mean the monster that many people attribute to the area.
Instead, you’ll find that you have a 23-mile long loch home that has been around for a very long time. The Loch Ness is a waterway that connects Scotland to Great Glen, which is Scotland’s largest body of water.
You can take a cruise out on Loch Ness and see all the mountains and scenery from a unique perspective.
You may even be able to see Urquhart Castle, whose ruins sit on top of a hill right next to the mountain. You’ll be able to learn about the history and myths that surround this unique ruin.
If you’re interested in seeing it from the water, there are many cruises and tours that go out on the water and give you a history of all of the sites that you’ll see on the way.
If you are interested in the Loch Ness monster, there are also plenty of exhibits and museums that you can visit that will give the history of it. You can learn about possible sightings and learn what the natives think about the myth.
