Avamere at Wenatchee Hosts Second Restock Roundup

Avamere at Wenatchee, an independent and assisted living community in Wenatchee, Washington, is holding a food drive to make a difference in its local area. 

Sponsored by Communities Who Work Together, food collected for the annual Restock Roundup will go to the New Song Community Church food pantry. 

​Avamere at Wenatchee is collecting donations Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in East Wenatchee. People can donate non-perishable food items and enter to win a gift basket. 

"Our Avamere at Wenatchee team is enhancing lives of not only our deserving residents but the local community as well," stated Thomas Cloutier, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with the Avamere Family of Companies. "During a time of immense change across the world, our kind-hearted team continues to serve our local citizens by giving back to the community in marvelous ways. I'm proud of their generosity and drive to serve." 

People can donate in person during the event or online.  

Several other local assisted living communities are joining in for this great cause, including Fieldstone Memory Care, New Song Community Church, RiverWest Senior Living, Swire Coca-Cola, and The Wenatchee World. 

​Avamere at Wenatchee is dedicated to keeping the local community safe. Avamere at Wenatchee employees will follow current safety guidelines during the event. Event attendees are required to wear a mask and encouraged to practice social distancing and wash their hands before arriving.
