Founded last year, the startup WATA is providing the base technology (automatic map creation technology, spatial recognition technology and spatial data visualization & calibration algorithm) to provide untact service for post-coronavirus era and diverse multi experience through smart hospital solution, location information control monitoring solution, self-quarantine solution, and smart store solution.

Through the cloud AI (Artificial Intelligence) spatial recognition platform that enables the creation of events by space and accident management of WATA, visitor access control, movement route, real-time location, duration of stay, and concentration can be found out by using the hybrid space data collected by smartphone sensor.

WATA provides smart hospital solution for visitor entrance management and isolation monitoring, location information control monitoring solution applied to table ordering and indoor navigation in casinos, and smart store solution that can analyze the preference by checking all visitor statistics and visiting frequency. All solutions such as map generation, AI spatial recognition technology, spatial data, and cloud DB required for WATA's spatial recognition and location information service are provided free of charge on the cloud spatial recognition platform.

WATA was selected to participate in the Xinova Global Acceleration Program in Pangyo, the global startup fostering project run by Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator, and it is receiving support for office space and infrastructure prepared at Pangyo Technovalley Startup Campus for one year from last March. Also, it is receiving the chance to participate in the specialized programs such as education, mentoring, and networking for overseas expansion and overseas IR/demo days.
