State Department approves $2.37B weapons sale to Taiwan after China sanctions

The State Department has approved a potential $2.37 billion sale of 100 Harpoon Coastal Defense Systems to Taiwan, the same day China announced sanctions on three U.S. companies over previous deals worth $1.8 billion.
