Curves N Combatboots Teams Up with Operation Underground Railroad to End Human Trafficking

Curves N Combatboots teams up with Operation Underground Railroad to end human trafficking, once and for all. In the last year alone, CNC has donated thousands of dollars from the proceeds of their athletic apparel lines.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

McKinney, TX – October 14, 2020 – Curves N Combatboots gives back to the community as a proud partner of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.). Since its founding by Veteran couple Sarah and Elijah Maine, CNC’s mission has always been to empower women with functional, fashionable apparel. That mission only continues to grow as their strength, determination, and beauty inspire millions of customers and social media followers worldwide. At O.U.R., the world’s experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts gather to bring an end to child slavery and human trafficking for good. This goal deeply resonates with the CNC community.

In a special message from the CNC founders, the Maines issued a call to action to support O.U.R: “Giving back to our community is in the DNA of Curves N Combatboots. So today, we wanted to share a cause that we have partnered with that is incredibly close to our hearts.”

The organization has been working with Operation Underground Railroad for over a year now. Through monthly donations, they have already contributed over $14,000 ($1,000 each month) to the cause; but that is not the only way they are contributing.

CNC is well known for its stylish and unique leggings with pockets, such as the Stars & Stripes line, snakeskin print leggings, and shimmer & holographic leggings. The proceeds from their YELLOW stripe leggings have allowed them to donate an additional $20,000 to the cause.

“Operation Underground Railroad is devoted to rescuing children from modern-day slavery. Human trafficking is a problem that exists globally, but also right here in our country – in our home,” say the founders. “That’s why we created a pair of leggings representing Operation Underground Railroad and will be donating 150% of the proceeds to O.U.R. That’s right: we’ll donate the full amount and match 50% on top of that.”

Their other contributions have assisted in the Covid-19 Relief Efforts and the Kirstie Ennis Foundation, in addition to supporting law enforcement and firefighters in the line of duty. Proceeds from their legging profits have been used to send care packages to deployed troops overseas.
