South Korea's Most Promising Tech Startups Pitched at Special Virtual League of Landing Firms from S. Korea

WASHINGTON - October 15, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Fifteen high-tech companies from South Korea had the chance to present their cutting-edge technology to an audience made of participants all over the world, thanks to virtual meeting capabilities. Korea Innovation Center Washington DC (KIC DC) (www.KICDC.org) and the Global Chamber of Commerce® (www.globalchamber.org) hosted the event, which took place on Sept. 15, 22, and 29.

Featuring Korea's latest technologies, the event comprised of three sessions, each focused on a different theme: Technology for People (September 15); Technology for Commercial (September 22); and Technology for Home & Office (September 29), during which each company presented live from South Korea to the audiences participating from the U.S. and other countries

The Korean companies introduced their innovative, sophisticated, and practical goods and services via the virtual conference to potential investors, buyers, distributors, and strategic partners in the U.S. and received various feedback and global tips from the panel of international business experts, as well as networking opportunities with global participants.

"Amid the pandemic, where international business development is significantly challenged due to physical restrictions, I am sure that this special event has been much more meaningful than ever, not just Korean companies, but also for many investors and partners who want to expand their horizon and explore more opportunities," said Jung H. Moon, Director General at KIC DC.

South Korea, one of the advanced economies with a remarkable economic success story, has been a model case for COVID-19 response worldwide. The country stands for high-tech industries, from mobile communications to consumer electronics.
