FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Richmond, TX, September 23, 2020 – Parkway Fellowship Church is taking part in a Christian prayer event on a historic day, this Saturday, September 26th, known as The Return. The Return is a physical gathering of Christians from all denominations and cultures to pray at The National Mall in Washington, DC, led by Christian Prophet Jonathan Cahn. Christian leaders such as Pat Robertson, Dr. James Dobson, Nicky Cruz, Bishop Harry Jackson, as well as My Pillow founder, Mike Lindell, Michelle Bachman, Secretary Ben Carson, and many more will be attending and speaking at the event. The Return will begin at 8:00 AM and last until 8:00 PM CDT.
Activities for the day include praise and worship music, a prophetic message for America from Jonathan Cahn, and prayer over different topics like the repentance of Christian leaders, repentance of the Christian Church, repentance of individual Christians, and prayers for America.
Parkway’s Communications Pastor Jeremiah Mohr says, “Because our nation’s capital is too far away for most Americans and Texans to easily travel to, we wanted to offer a place for people to experience The Return close to where they live. We believe that from our repentance and return, will come forgiveness, salvation, healing, revival, and restoration for our communities and our nation. We encourage everyone to come for part or all of the event this Saturday, September 26.”
The Return Movement leaders Jonathan Cahn and Kevin Jessip say “We stand at a pivotal moment in American history and world history. A juncture, that can permanently seal our nation’s course and the course of world history, for bad or good, for calamity or redemption. America and much of western culture were founded on a Biblical foundation stone that has turned away and even against the foundation on which it was birthed. It is time to seek the Lord as never before. The moment and chance we have before us now may never happen again. It is time to return.“
Parkway Fellowship has two physical locations, one in Richmond and another in Katy. Both Parkway Fellowship locations will be live streaming the entire day’s event in their worship centers. Anyone in the public is invited to come for part of the day or attend the event in its entirety at the Richmond TX church. Attendance is free.
