Be.labs accelerator has become increasingly popular in recent times as a business accelerator focused on women entrepreneurship. The organization recently took their plight for a better society and more sustainable planet earth to another level with the launch of “LOGOM.” The new mobile app is created as a platform to help millions of needy people in Brazil, particularly in these trying times. The app is developed to allow people to donate different categories of essential products such as food, services, and personal hygiene and cleaning solutions.
“We strongly believe in the concept of abundance, where it is possible to donate to those who need what you have left. For this reason, we decided to help in some way during this quarantine period by developing a simple and direct channel to facilitate communication between people and encourage the sharing of products for those in need”, explains Maria Clara, co-founder of Be.labs
The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to ravage countries across the globe, with the number of infected persons surpassing the 8 million mark. Several measures have been put in place to curb the spread of the virus. However, this does not take away the devastating effects of the crisis on millions of individuals in Brazil, one of the worst-hit areas, and other parts of the world. While several institutions have been donating to alleviate the suffering of people during the quarantine, more needs to be done to help the needy. This is where Be.labs accelerator is looking to make a difference with the launch of “LOGOM.”
The platform, which is an allusion to the Swedish word that means “not too little, not too much, just enough,” was developed to cover the entire country and possibly other parts of South America. The free platform allows users to exercise positive practices in the face of the global pandemic situation.
“LOGOM” is currently available on Google Play for users of android devices.’
