Buyer Beware of Troy Stillman When Customizing Trucks or Jeeps

Ft. Lauderdale, FL – January 21, 2020 – When searching around for reputable and trustworthy shops or people to customize your truck or Jeep, please be sure to stay away from Troy Stillman of Port St. Lucie.  Going back almost 5 months ago from now (January 2020), I was introduced to Troy Stillman for customizing my Jeep and it has been nothing but trouble since then.

He spelled out everything that was planned for customizing our Jeep including Lift Kit, Shocks, Rims, Tires, DV8 Fenders, Winch, Custom Lights, Redone Interior with Boat Grade leather and so on.  Troy Stillman then gave me an acceptable price and asked for $4,500 up front, which was sent to him literally the next banking day.

A week later when we were ready to drop the Jeep off to him, he asked for an additional $1,000 up front again.  That’s when everything went downhill from there.

Troy Stillman’s mode of operation appears to promise the world but clearly has a MAJOR issue completing any tasks.  He gave me lie upon lie and 100% complete fabrications of why the process was being delayed day after day, week after week and literally month after month.

After about 3 months of being lied to over and over and since he could not come close to delivering or finishing what was promised, I had to pull the Jeep from him, uncompleted, and take it to another shop.  The most disappointing turn of events was the amount of lies coupled with the fact it turns out he kept my money, used it for something other than my Jeep and could not come close to completing what he promised.

And to top everything, he will not return the amount of funds that he promised he would.  Again, I get nothing but continued lies and the complete run around.  I would definitely stay clear of having Troy Stillman do any sort of customization work.  More to follow.
