Jeselle Granada, one of the sales managers for the staffing company in Orlando, FL, contacted Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando to take part in one of the organization’s most recent projects of building a new home for a family in need. It was not only a great experience for the entire team, but an excellent way to give back to the community that supports them.
“We were looking for a volunteering project that could serve the community in addition to serving as a team-building event, and this did both,” said Franchisee, David Sellari. “The team was able to accomplish priming and painting the complete exterior of the house.”
The Orlando Express staff found the experience of helping build a home for a new community very rewarding. Not only did they accomplish a goal together as a team, but they also learned some new skills. The team is no stranger to working together with local organizations to better their community, though. Previously, they have helped other non-profit organizations such as MyBELONGings, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and several other non-profit organizations in the Orlando area.
