This light can illuminate an area of 18,000 square feet and is weatherproof. This light is ideal for use in marine areas, as well as exterior lighting in hazardous locations.
The HAL-PRM-400W-HPS-220V-PT 400-watt, high-pressure sodium hazardous area light fixture features a weatherproof housing and is made of die-cast aluminum with a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws. The optical assembly features a precision-formed aluminum reflector and heat and impact resistant tempered flat door glass. The aluminum reflector has a chemically bonded, unbreakable ALGLAS finish with a mogul base socket for handling higher pulse ratings of newer HID systems.
Larson Electronics’ hazardous area, high-pressure sodium light is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D hazardous locations. This light operates on 120V AC and is IP65 rated. This light produces a wide flood pattern and operates at temperatures to -20-degrees F. This unit can be mounted with a steel trunnion bracket that allows for attachment to walls or ceilings with 270-degrees of adjustment. Suitable applications include hazardous locations, boat docks, building exteriors and more.
