FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - June 1, 2018 - PRLog -- Many people who are seeking ADR, online or in-person dispute resolution, or simply termed as 'Mediation' in a family, divorce, or other civil matter are unsure of what their role is in a mediation session and who are the other role-players.

Matthew Brickman of iMediate Inc. made a recent appearance on "The Family Man" radio show to discuss several topics involving family law and divorce mediation. Among them were the different roles and role-players in a mediation session.

In discussion with Grant J Gisondo, PA a South Florida attorney who hosts the podcast, Mr. Brickman explained, you have "The parties who are the decision maker, the mediator who is the facilitator, and the attorneys who provide legal advice to the parties. The mediator cannot provide legal advice but can advise you on how a courtroom would view their case."
