Christian school increases their fundraising total 188% by partnering with Cornerstone Consulting Group, a leader in conducting special event fundraising campaigns for Christian PK-12 schools.

Cornerstone Consulting Group recently partnered with Greenville Christian School on a special event fundraising campaign that raised over $115,000 from individual and corporate donors. The fundraising total far exceeded the school’s original fundraising goal and was 188% higher than the school’s previous year’s fundraising campaign total of $40,000.
During a five week period earlier in the school year, families and students, along with faculty and staff at Greenville Christian School, sent out nearly 2,400 letters to friends, families, and business associates inviting them to support the school’s fundraising effort. Donations were used to complete construction of a multi-purpose building at the school.
In addition, as a way to “pay it forward” and bless others in the community, some of the funds raised were used to purchase 10,000 servings of fortified macaroni and cheese. The students then rolled up their sleeves and spent about three hours assembling the various meal ingredients into bags of six servings each. When they were finished, the students donated the meals to a local food bank to help feed the food insecure in the Greenville area. (According to the website FeedingAmerica.org, 1 in 4 children in Texas struggle with hunger.)
