See The Change USA Expands Message and Staff with New Ex VP

Heather Webb Poised to Help Bring High-Quality Physics to All Middle Schools
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. & BOULDER, Colo. - Feb. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- See The Change USA (STCUSA), a 501(c) 3 not for profit focused on bringing an age-appropriate physics curricula to all middle-grade students in the United States, named Heather Webb as its executive vice president. In this newly-created position, Webb will work in partnership with See the Change USA’s president & CEO and staff to maintain the strategic direction of the organization and implement new processes and approaches to achieve it.

Webb joins STCUSA with experience in the education and not for profit sectors. After serving as a crisis management liaison for Duke University and a research associate at Wake Forest University, she began her career in public education at Teach For America in 2004. Following her time in the corps, Webb was a program director with Teach for America-Atlanta where she supported about 100 teachers as they implemented challenging curriculum to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

“Heather's track record makes her a valuable asset to the STCUSA family,” said Dave Csintyan, CEO, See The Change USA. “Her infectious passion to level the academic playing field for today's youth provides a clear insight into the profound outcomes we know she will achieve on behalf of See The Change USA.”

Webb, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University, is confident that in her new role she can assist STCUSA to even the math and science playing field for all students across all social classes. “Early access to high-quality science education is key to uncovering great solutions and world-class thinkers,” Webb said. “Providing our children with rigorous, inquiry-based curriculum is the greatest shield we have against indifference, apathy, and failure.”
