Nova Mining Corp President Heading Back to Asia for New Business with First Stop in Japan

Nova Mining Corp. (OTCBB: NVMN) management disclosed that Company President James Dilger will be traveling back to Asia to follow up on business created during his trip there last month and to pursue new lithium supply deals. Of special note is that President Dilger will be travelling through Japan on this trip. The island nation is a leading worldwide supplier of lithium ion batteries and it has entered the quest for critically short lithium supplies to sustain its manufacturing base. Lithium is the main ingredient for long-life batteries that are used in smartphones, computers, electric cars and other high-demand consumer products that are manufactured in Japan. Last week, it was revealed that Japan, Korea and France have recognized the immediate need to acquire lithium supplies in the current tight lithium market.

On Monday, the Company learned that it may have as much as $12Bil in lithium product currently under contract in Mongolia. In the current lithium “seller’s market”, management believes that it is in a prime position to leverage strong positions by supplying electronics manufacturers that have recognized the value of accumulating proper supplies to maintain or grow business.

Recently, Dilger had stated, “With the upcoming Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone 5 launch, it would seem advisable for any nation with an electronics manufacturing base to secure lithium supplies as soon as possible.” Dilger is referring, in part, to a recent Bloomberg Business article titled “IPad Boom Strains Lithium Supplies after Prices Triple”. In the article, the phenomenal sales of Apple’s latest iPad are credited with severely straining already short lithium supplies. NVMN management expects that the iPhone 5 will be another phenomenal sales success for Apple and further strain lithium supplies and drive lithium prices even higher.

Nova Mining Corp. (NVMN) seeks out the most potentially lucrative mining projects, supplies and sales of strategic high-demand minerals, such as lithium, as part of its aggressive economic business model. Lithium is the main ingredient in long life batteries, like those used in Apple’s popular iPhones and iPads, Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOG) new Nexus 7 tablet and Tesla Motor’s (NASDAQ: TSLA) new performance electric cars.
