LAKERS Legend Byron Scott Hosts KiKi Shepard's 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic for Sickle Cell Disease Awareness

Celebrated personalities swing for a hole-in-one to benefit the KIS Foundation, Inc's. COVID-19 Recovery Relief & Crisis Care Programs

PORTER RANCH, Calif. - Nov. 4, 2021 - PRLog -- Taking advantage of the perfect Fall weather Southern California has to offer and the majestic views of the Porter Valley Country Club, Actress & Philanthropist KiKi Shepard presents 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, November 8th at 8am to benefit the KIS Foundation, Inc., which raises awareness, advocacy and education about Sickle Cell Disease and its prevention and treatment.

Hosted by LAKERS legend Byron Scott, registration begins at 8:00 AM, followed by a Continental Breakfast and Putting Contest with a shotgun start at 10:00 AM. Festivities will continue with lunch served "at turn," and a VIP Awards dinner with a silent and live auction to end the evening.

The exclusive Porter Valley Country Club, located at 19216 Singing Hills Drive, Northridge, CA 91326, will be home to this fundraising event where players will enjoy 18 holes of golf and a day of raising Sickle Cell Disease awareness.

Through its services and programs, such as The Crisis Care Package Program (CCPP) - designed to assist SCD patients before, during and after a Sickle Cell Crisis, and the COVID-19 Recovery Relief efforts seek to improve the social health & quality of life plus make a transformative impact on the core beliefs of the children and families of the SCD community.

Celebrities endorsing the mission include Byron Scott (LAKERS legend), James Pickens, Jr. (Grey's Anatomy), Rocky Carroll (NCIS), Glynn Turman (FARGO, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom), Harvey Mason (FOURPLAY), Dorian Missick (FOR LIFE), Dondre Whitfield (Queen Sugar), Salli Richardson Whitfield (Actress/Director) and more!
