Ralph Baumgartner is a native of Kansas, and lives near Topeka. He is married, and has two children and three grandchildren. Baumgartner served four years in the Marine Corps, and graduated from Washburn University in Topeka with a BBA in business management.
Baumgartner is currently a retired letter carrier, and has been collecting his poetry since high school.
