Woods and Day Solicitor Stays Open Amidst Covid-19 Lockdown

The world is facing this plague, and no one is exempted from this. According to the latest news, with the infection rate for COVID-19 still on the rise, NSW has prolonged its lockdown time until at least September 2.

This new extension was enacted after 19 cases were detected in Canberra residents during a week-long period of lockdown. Staying home and only venturing out when necessary is recommended to protect people against this highly contagious virus.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian advised that residents who have been locked down will not enjoy freedoms until the vaccination target is met. To date, NSW has successfully vaccinated 70% of its eligible population with two doses by October 31st. If this trend continues, 80% of people in the state should be fully vaccinated by mid-November.

Just this week, there were 452 cases of coronavirus reported in NSW alone. Authorities have described the numbers as "disturbingly high", but Premier Gladys Berejiklian offered a glimmer of hope last night when she expects lockdown to lift.

The state government has said that they're going to remain to lock down New South Wales through at least the next few weeks while noticing how mentally draining such action is having on individuals across the state.

The lockdown restricts anyone from leaving home unless there is food delivery or if they need medical care — so even those gatherings where you can see your best friend face-to-face aren't possible during this time frame.
