1836 Logistics Announces Corporate Relocation to Fort Worth, TX

FORT WORTH, Texas - June 30, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

1836 Logistics has relocated its corporate headquarters to its new office in Fort Worth, Texas. The company, which was previously based in the Texas Panhandle town of Perryton, opened its Fort Worth office in March and is growing the team there.

1836 Logistics grew out of a leading agriculturally-focused, asset-based trucking company. The trucking company began in 2009 in the heart of the cattle and grain industry in the Texas Panhandle. Its foundation is built on the hauling of bulk agricultural commodities, such as liquid urea and dry bulk, including alfalfa pellets, cotton seed mill, and granular urea.

After several years of growth focusing exclusively on the agricultural industry, the third-party logistics division was spun off and 1836 Logistics was created. 1836 has since expanded into many other industries.

Today, 1836 Logistics employs a team of 10 transportation professionals. The company is currently transitioning all employees to be based in its Fort Worth headquarters. Throughout 2022 and 2023, 1836 will be continuing to grow with the addition of more brokers, dispatchers, and accounting team members.

"Fort Worth was a natural choice for us when we wanted to relocate our headquarters," said 1836 Logistics CEO Cody McGarraugh, "this city offers a great pool of talented logistics professionals and is home to many of our agriculturally-based customers."

For over a decade, the team at 1836 has worked for over a decade developing a rich and diverse customer base that has relied on them for everything from small, project-oriented logistics services to organizing and handling the bulk of the shipper's transportation needs.

Having grown out of a trucking company, 1836 Logistics has a true appreciation of the challenges facing single truck owner-operators and small fleets. 1836 places a significant focus on building an environment that fosters success with its carrier partners across the United States. It will continue to develop programs that enhance a small fleet's ability to succeed in today's challenging environment, such as trailer rentals, dedicated dispatching, and invoicing services.

1836 Logistics currently focuses on dry bulk in hopper bottoms, liquid bulk in tankers, flatbed, and power only. Both carriers and customers can look forward to the expansion of lanes and services offered by 1836 Logistics in the near future.
