Monogram Orthopaedics CEO Ben Sexson joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to share how the company is progressing with its development of orthopedic robots in the medical technology industry.
Sexson says Monogram's goal is to create a next-generation surgical robot for the operating room, starting with knee surgeries and expanding to other clinical opportunities. He adds the company has been making progress since its founding in 2016 and recently had meetings with the FDA to introduce their technology and discuss the regulatory process. They are working towards FDA approval while also exploring opportunities outside the U.S. to potentially accelerate their time to market.
