With over three decades of experience of progressive public and private transportation and logistics experience, Mr. Bates brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining Apex Petroleum, Mr. Bates served as the General Manager for the Lextran Wheels Contract at RATP Dev in Lexington, KY. During his time there, he oversaw the successful transition of a non-profit agency to a professional transit company and managed all aspects of a 60-day start-up for a paratransit operation. Additionally, he has 10 years of experience at TransDev, the world's largest transportation and environmental organization, where he demonstrated outstanding performance managing a budget exceeding $90 million, overseeing over 1000 employees, and managing fleets of up to 2000 vehicles.
At Apex Petroleum, Mr. Bates will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth of fuel to the transit sector.
