Blue Biofuels Inc CEO Ben Slager joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news about the very unique company that is looking to use its cellulose-to-sugar technology to create an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and renewable green energy system.
Slager tells Proactive the process can convert any plant material to sugar and lignin, with the sugars then converted into biofuel. This process, the company says, is protected by a patent.
Slager also shared with Proactive the company has leased an additional 167 acres of farmland in southwest Florida on which it intends to grow king grass for the production of bio-ethanol and sustainable aviation fuel.
