Factors considered for the report include pollen count, over-the-counter medication usage, and the accessibility of allergists and immunologists. High levels of pollen in Dallas make it tough for allergy sufferers and asthmatics to savor the beautiful year-round weather of the city.
“Many allergy sufferers end up spending a large amount of time indoors in an attempt to avoid the pollen present outside, but in doing so, you may not be as protected as you think,” says Mark Davidson, Manager of Marketing and Technical Materials at global air filtration manufacturer Camfil, “Pollen and other pollutants can be up to fifty times as concentrated indoors than they are outdoors.”
