Prevent Cancer Foundation presents new research on women’s cancer screenings [Infographic]

(BPT) - New research by Prevent Cancer Foundation® reveals some alarming statistics, and the Foundation encourages women to get their cancer screenings 'Back on the Books' as soon as possible.

Women of average risk should begin breast cancer screenings at 40 and continue to get screened annually.

Women of average risk should begin cervical cancer screenings at 21 and continue with Pap tests every three years through age 29. Women 30-65 should get a Pap test alone every three years, an HPV test alone every five years, or an HPV and Pap test together (co-test) every five years.
