Vitacorps Installation Technician prepares to install wellness upgrades that will enhance indoor air quality.
At Fort Riley, Vitacorps has completed initial home assessments, with installation of the company’s resulting prescriptions for air and water quality, excess humidity and lighting scheduled to begin at the end of September. The initiative will continue into next year and benefit more than one thousand families.
"Bringing this program to Fort Riley is about making a tangible investment in the health of the local military community," said Anna Obraztsova, PhD, Head of WELL Consulting of Vitacorps. "Our commitment goes beyond providing a product; it’s about delivering a scientifically validated promise of a healthier home environment to the service members and families who sacrifice so much for our nation right here in Kansas."
The initiative, taking place in certain homes managed by Corvias, aligns to the DOD’s Resilient and Healthy Defense Communities Strategy (RHDC).
Deploying an optimized, science-backed approach, Vitacorps is implementing its proprietary 7-step process engineered to create healthier living spaces. The program is engineered to improve air, water, and lighting quality while mitigating excess humidity to certifiable standards, all without requiring families to relocate.
The company’s unique process provides a transparent, evidence-based journey toward a healthier home:
- Steps 1 & 2: Portfolio Assessment and Measurement. The program began with a hyper-local focus during the first quarter of 2025, conducting in-depth Portfolio Assessment and Pre-Intervention Measurement to establish a scientific baseline for the specific environmental conditions inside certain Fort Riley homes.
- Steps 3 & 4: Prescription and Implementation. Based on the data collected on-site, Vitacorps developed tailored Prescriptions of wellness upgrades during the second quarter. The subsequent Installation of these upgrades, scheduled to begin September 29th, will be implemented efficiently with minimal disruption to family life.
- Steps 5, 6, & 7: Validation and Ongoing Local Support. Following the Installation phase, the cornerstone of the program is accountability. Vitacorps will conduct Post-Intervention Performance Validation to scientifically confirm improvements, followed by Annual Maintenance and Reporting to ensure the homes at Fort Riley continue to meet or exceed scientific benchmarks for healthy living.
This holistic approach to supporting service member wellbeing is a critical risk mitigation vehicle, designed to address potential hazardous conditions and enhance resilience and quality of life for the Fort Riley community.
