Powel brings Decades of Commercial Real Estate Expertise and Global Perspective to Gate House Team
Gate House Strategies, a Washington, DC-based mortgage advisory and strategic consulting firm, today announced that Steve Powel, former CEO and co-founder of Situs (now SitusAMC), has joined the firm as Senior Advisor.
Powel will provide strategic counsel and industry insight to the Gate House Strategies family of companies, Gate House Blueprint, Gate House Compliance, and Gate House Digital. He will also be available to support the needs of our clients across our various business divisions.

Powel brings 38 years of extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. His other roles include serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Strategy at NuBridge, where he oversees its commercial lending division.
In addition to serving as a Senior Advisor to Gate House Strategies, Powel has held several prominent advisory roles, including Vice Chairman of MISMO’s Board of Directors, SitusAMC’s Board of Directors. Additionally, he has served as an advisor to Foundation CREF, Avanti Way Group, and Multihousing Partners, and is Chief Executive Officer of Point North Capital, LLC, a family office company. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Key Biscayne Police Officer & Firefighters Pension Board.
