From Manager to Vice President of Total Rewards
Following his graduation from Hagerstown Community College, Mr. Rosales entered the role of senior compensation manager at Walmart in 2007. By 2012, he was appointed director of compensation at Sam's Club. Four years later, Mr. Rosales joined Southeastern Grocers LLC as vice president of total rewards and shared services, holding this position for two years before assuming a similar role at Coca-Cola Consolidated.
One of Mr. Rosales' proudest accomplishments has been persuading Coca-Cola Consolidated's leadership to completely overhaul its benefits program. This process involved not only the company but also its vendors, necessitating new processes. Mr. Rosales helped initiate a request for proposal process to find new vendors and programs, resulting in an annual improvement of $5 million.
Founding Rosales Consulting LLC
In 2022, Mr. Rosales decided to found his own consulting company, Rosales Consulting LLC. In this role, he advises executive leaders on total rewards opportunities and their effectiveness, as well as other policies and procedures. With a strong background in human resources, he is an effective first point of contact for day-to-day questions and critical issues alike.
Mr. Rosales attributes much of his success in the industry to simply meeting people where they are. He pays attention to how various departments and business elements do their work and what they might need, rather than approaching with a series of demands. By adapting his communication style to the needs of the department, he consistently breaks barriers and establishes effective interpersonal connections.
In 2025, Mr. Rosales joined Six Flags Entertainment LLC, leading total rewards focused on driving future growth and success for his team, the company and himself.
Keeping Busy Professionally and Personally
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Rosales maintains membership in several organizations. He has been a member of both the World at Work Society of Certified Professionals and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2005. Additionally, he enjoys mountain biking, martial arts and spending time with his grandchildren.
Whether in consulting or another area of human resources, his goal remains to establish himself and ensure long-term growth as he works toward the end of his career. As such, Mr. Rosales treats each role as foundational for the legacy he continues to build.
