Ticket Initiative to Honor Service Members at Nov. 9 Rutgers vs. Minnesota Big Ten Football Matchup at SHI Stadium
PISCATAWAY, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / November 8, 2024 / Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq (GGL) in partnership with Rutgers Athletics, will sponsor the "R Heroes" program during Rutgers' annual Military Appreciation Day on November 9, when the Scarlet Knights take on Minnesota at SHI Stadium. This initiative invites fans to donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces, honoring their service with a day of recognition and celebration.

The game day will feature a pregame parade and pep rally at the Rutgers Boardwalk, military vehicle displays, and a military flyover. Service members will line the tunnel pregame to welcome the Scarlet Knights onto the field, a highlight of the day's events.
The "R Heroes" program is one of many joint initiatives between Rutgers Athletics and GGL, which earlier this year became the department's first Official Law Firm Partner. As part of this multi-year partnership, GGL will be prominently featured at SHI Stadium, Jersey Mike's Arena, and across digital platforms, supporting Rutgers in community-building events throughout the season.
