Trauma Therapist Institute Announces Advanced Polyvagal-Informed EMDR Practitioner Training for Trauma Professionals
Featuring EMDR Trainer and Author Rebecca Kase, LCSW

DENVER, CO - January 5, 2026 - The Trauma Therapist Institute© (TTI), a leading provider of advanced trauma training and EMDRIA-approved EMDR education for mental health professionals, is proud to announce enrollment for its Polyvagal-Informed EMDR Practitioner Program, a live, research-driven virtual training designed for EMDR clinicians seeking to integrate nervous system science directly into their clinical work.

Launching in February 2026, this four-session program is led by Rebecca Kase, LCSW, Founder of Trauma Therapist Institute and author of Polyvagal Informed EMDR: A Neuro-Informed Approach to Healing. The training supports clinicians in blending the precision of EMDR with the embodied wisdom of Polyvagal Theory to help clients move from survival into safety, connection, and lasting transformation.

Polyvagal-Informed EMDR Practitioner Program

Trainer: Rebecca Kase, LCSW

Live Virtual Training Dates: February 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, 2026

Integrate the Science of Safety into EMDR Practice

Every moment of healing begins with safety. When clinicians learn to listen to the body’s cues and respond with compassion, EMDR becomes more than a protocol, it becomes a pathway to regulation, connection, and wholeness.

This advanced practitioner program invites EMDR-trained clinicians to bring the nervous system fully into the therapy room. Participants will learn to assess and track autonomic states in real time, modify EMDR protocols responsively, and apply Polyvagal-informed interventions throughout all eight phases of EMDR treatment. Designed for clinicians working with complex trauma, chronic dysregulation, and dissociation, the program offers immediately applicable tools grounded in neuroscience and real-world clinical experience.

Live Training & Learning Structure

  • 4 live training sessions (3 CE hours each)

  • 12 total CE hours (EMDRIA, ASWB, and NBCC approved) 2 live Q&A sessions with Rebecca Kase

    • February 11th and February 25th, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Central

Program Outcomes & Ideal Participants

The Polyvagal-Informed EMDR Practitioner Program equips clinicians with practical, neuro-informed tools they can apply immediately in session. Participants learn to assess and track autonomic nervous system states in real time, identify safety and threat cues through guided neuroception scans, and modify EMDR protocols to support regulation, safety, and completion. The training emphasizes working skillfully with the vagal brake, using pendulation and grounding micro-interventions to prevent flooding, and delivering Polyvagal-informed interweaves based on observed nervous system responses during bilateral stimulation.

This program is designed for EMDR-trained clinicians working with complex trauma, dissociation, and nervous system fragility. EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training is recommended. Therapists seeking both neuroscience-informed understanding and immediately applicable clinical strategies will benefit most from this advanced training.
