Ibogaine BY David Dardashti Unveils "Sovereign Guardian" Protocol: A Radical New Framework for Ibogaine Integration and Trauma Recovery

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO - January 26, 2026 - David Dardashti, a leading pioneer in Ibogaine therapy and trauma recovery, has officially announced the launch of the Sovereign Guardian Questionnaire. This specialized psychological framework is designed to bridge the gap between the physiological "reset" of an Ibogaine treatment and the long-term cognitive "reprogramming" required for sustained sobriety and emotional freedom.

For over two decades, David Dardashti has observed that while Ibogaine effectively targets the physical roots of addiction, the psychological "software" of the individual often remains stuck in a state of "Arrested Delta" — a term Dardashti uses to describe the emotional age at which a person first experienced significant trauma.

A Five-Phase Internal Map

The Sovereign Guardian Questionnaire moves beyond standard intake forms, focusing instead on the user’s internal landscape. It utilizes five distinct archetypal phases to help patients identify and deconstruct their trauma:

  1. The Child (The Arrested Delta): Identifying the specific age of "fracture" and the primary unmet needs (safety, validation, or touch) that drive adult behaviors.

  2. The Caregiver (Anima/Animus Balance): Assessing whether the internal voice is a "harsh disciplinarian" or a "neglectful bystander," and working to balance structure with nurture.

  3. The Shadow (The Suppressed Trauma): Identifying the "limbic hijack" triggers and the parts of the personality hidden to stay "safe" during childhood.

  4. The Trickster (Strategic Neglect): Learning to identify the "lies" trauma tells, such as the false belief that self-sabotage is actually self-protection.

  5. The Hero (The Sovereign Guardian): Developing the "Sovereignty Software" that will run on the post-Ibogaine hardware.

From "Arrested" to "Sovereign"

"Ibogaine provides the hardware reset, but the patient must provide the new software," says David Dardashti. "The Sovereign Guardian protocol allows individuals to step out of the role of the victim and into the role of the protector. By naming the 'Trickster' and nurturing the 'Arrested Child,' they can finally silence the internal noise that leads to relapse."

The questionnaire encourages users to give their anxiety a "ridiculous name" and persona, stripping the trauma of its power through irony and humor—a key component of the "Trickster" phase. By the final stage, the "Hero" phase, patients define their adult "powers"—such as the ability to speak or financial independence—that their younger selves lacked.
