Officers.
On July 27, 2010, Becton, Dickinson and Company (“BD”) elected Vincent A. Forlenza, 57, as
Chief Operating Officer of BD, in addition to his current role as President. Mr. Forlenza has
served as President since January 1, 2009, as Executive Vice President from June 2006 to January
2009, as President— BD Biosciences from March 2003 to June 2006, and, prior thereto, as Senior
Vice President— Technology, Strategy and Development.
