On March 27, 2008, Mechanical Technology, Incorporated (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed public offering by the Company of units consisting of shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase shares of its common stock.
