Giant Interactive Group Announces Shareholder Resolutions Adopted at 2009 Annual General Meeting

SHANGHAI, China — Giant Interactive Group Inc. (NYSE: GA) (“Giant” or the “Company”), one of China’s leading online game developers and operators, announced shareholders resolutions adopted at its annual general meeting of shareholders held in Shanghai on September 11, 2009.

At the meeting, Giant shareholders approved the re-election of each of Jason Nanchun Jiang and Peter Andrew Schloss to serve on the board of directors for a three year term or until such director’s successor is elected and duly qualified or until such director’s disqualification in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association. Giant shareholders additionally appointed Ernst & Young Hua Ming as the Company’s independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009.
